Best Pregnancy Gift Basket Ideas

present

Becoming a mom is an exciting and also overwhelming time. There are so many things that we focus on getting for the baby but what about mom? Her body is going through a heck of a lot! Don’t worry, I’ve found a few things that will make things a little more comfortable for her. There are some amazing options for a great pregnancy gift for the new mom in your life. Listed below are five of my top pregnancy gift ideas for any new mom.

ELECTRIC RAZOR

As her beautiful belly grows, her ability to see past it will become difficult. An electric razor means she can just swipe up and down her legs all willy nilly without fear of cutting herself. I used this one and it was great. Did I get as close of a shave? No. But the ease made it worth it. This was also great to have postpartum because the time I could spend in the shower was rarely long enough for me to get my hair washed AND legs shaved. There were many times when I’d take a quick shower during my sons first nap and then shave my legs during another one.

MAKEUP WIPES

The first trimester can be especially exhausting. Having some nice makeup wipes on hand when you’re just too tired to do a full face washing is a nice treat. These are also great to have for those first few months postpartum for the same reason.

LABOR AND DELIVERY GOWN

I would only recommend this one as a pregnancy gift if you know the mama to be REALLY well and can be confident in what you’re picking out for her. Labor and delivery are hard enough. I did not love the idea of also having to wear an oversized, uncomfortable hospital gown that a million other people wore before me. Yes, I know they clean them. I still loved having my own pretty labor and delivery gown. Make sure it’s one that has snaps at the shoulders and down the back. The one I linked is exactly what I had.

STRETCH MARK CREAM

I used belly butter, belly oil and a scrub on my growing belly. Any one of these or a combination of them would make an excellent gift. This belly butter is organic, super hydrating and only has five ingredients. I usually used the belly butter in the morning and then this oil at night. In the shower I liked using a scrub that my mom made for me with coconut oil, coconut sugar and grapefruit essential oils. You could do the same using whatever oils the mama in your life prefers.

PREGGIE POP DROPS

Whoever coined the phrase “morning sickness” was mistaken. It’s more like all day and night sickness. There was rarely a moment when I wasn’t nauseous for the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. These Preggie Pop Drops were a life saver! Bonus, they taste delicious.

Every mom is different, but these were my favorite pregnancy essentials. Whether you pick up one of these or put a few into a beautiful pregnancy gift basket, the new mom in your life will be thrilled. Above all, remember, the most important thing you can do is show her love and support during this exciting time in her life. I’m proud of you.
